Campus Tour Guide
- What you’ll do: Tour guides are our friendly faces that welcome visitors to Chapman and show them
around campus. If you love meeting new people, sharing your story, and spending time
on campus, this student opportunity is perfect for you.
- What you’ll learn:You’ll develop confidence and experience in public speaking, storytelling, time-management,
and interpersonal abilities as you interact with diverse audiences and showcase the
Chapman experience. You will also gain administrative skills by assisting in the office.
Admission Office Assistant
- What you’ll do: Admission Office Assistants work in the Admission office and assist potential and incoming students and their families with questions or concerns
they have. This involves answering incoming emails, phone calls, text messages and
live chats.
- What you’ll learn: As an Admission Office Assistant, you will gain comprehensive knowledge about the
Chapman admission process and university as a whole. You’ll also strengthen your communication and writing skills, as well as organization
skills by completing important administrative tasks.
Student Processing Assistant
- What you’ll do: Processing assistants support Admission and help students apply to Chapman by ensuring
that all applicants' documents are successfully processed to their corresponding files.
- What you’ll learn: This position is a great opportunity to learn how to work independently, develop attention
to small details, understand admission systems and processes and effectively utilize
Admission’s technology systems.
Graduate Admission Assistant
- What you’ll do: Graduate admission assistants provide office support to the graduate counselor team,
completing various tasks such as research and content creation.
- What you’ll learn: This position is a great job opportunity to gain insights into the operational aspects
of graduate admission and expand your overall administrative skills.
Volunteer Team Member
- What you’ll do: Admission volunteer team members support the Admission by personalizing the admission
process for prospective students through various outreach efforts and events. It can
be a great fit for those looking to learn more about or assist the Admission office
without the commitment of taking on a paid position.
- What you’ll learn: As an Admission volunteer, you will gain leadership and interpersonal experience by
answering questions for prospective students and families and sharing your Chapman
experience with others.
