After being admitted to Chapman, eligible and selected students will receive a financial aid offer that includes direct and indirect costs of attending Chapman as well as financial aid awarded. Financial aid awarded can include:
- Scholarships and grants.
- Loans.
- Federal work-study.
Note that you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for all need-based aid, low-interest loans, and federal work-study.
When you’ll receive your financial aid offer
- First-year admits who apply via Early Action and Early Decision will receive academic merit scholarships at the time of admittance.
- Early Decision admits will receive any applicable need-based aid around a week after decisions are released.
- Early Action admits will receive any applicable need-based aid a few weeks after decisions are released.
- All other first-year and transfer admits will receive their financial aid offer within a few weeks of admittance.
