News Photography, Videotaping and Filming

Media representatives or organizations wishing to photograph, videotape or film on the Chapman campus in Orange, or to photograph, videotape or film Chapman faculty, staff, students or administrators, must first contact Strategic Marketing and Communications at pr@chapman.edu.

Chapman University is a private institution and all media representatives must obtain clearance from this office. We are happy to assist you, if needed, with parking arrangements and with a staff member from this office to guide you around the campus once you arrive.

News Interviews

Media representatives or organizations wishing to interview Chapman University faculty, administrators or students must first contact Strategic Marketing and Communications at pr@chapman.edu.  

Commercial Photography; Location Filming for Movies and TV

All requests for commercial photography (ads and commercials) and filming (movie and television location shooting, etc.) are handled through Event Operations at (714) 997-6811 or submit your request through our Filming Inquiry Form.

Athletics Coverage

Media inquiries regarding Chapman University NCAA athletics are handled by the sports information office at (714) 744-7889 or olveda@chapman.edu. The sports information office can also direct you to the proper contacts for Chapman club sports.

Use of the University Seal and Logo

Media requests for use of the Chapman University seal and/or logo are coordinated through Strategic Marketing and Communications at (714) 997-6661 or smc@chapman.edu. Use of the seal and/or logo is expressly prohibited without permission from the University.

Requests for Reproduction of Content from University Publications

All requests to republish print or digital content produced by Chapman University should be submitted to news@chapman.edu.

Requests for Reproduction of Content from Website or Social Media

All requests for reprint or reproduction of content from the Chapman University website or any official Chapman-run social media must be coordinated through the Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist, Mya Naguit, at (714) 516-6197 or naguit@chapman.edu.
