Is Chapman University a Yellow Ribbon school?

Does the VA pay my full tuition at Chapman?

No, the VA will pay a benefit based upon your eligibility. You are responsible for any portion of your tuition and fees that are not covered by your VA benefits.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) includes a monthly housing allowance. How much is that?

Students must be registered as more than half-time status to be eligible. This varies from year to year and is affected by your eligibility percentage. It is also affected if you are taking all of your classes online. See the Post 9/11 GI-Bill® website for details.

How often do I need to verify enrollment at Chapman with VA?

Students receiving Chapter 30, 1606, or 1607 benefits must verify enrollment monthly. Chapter 33 students do not need to verify enrollment. The preferred verification method is through the Web Automated Verification of Enrollment (WAVE) or by Interactive Voice Response (VR). DISABILITY SERVICES

The Disability Services Office is designed to help students who have average or above average potential for learning and who exhibit significant difficulties due to a disability. We will support students to understand his/her limited abilities and compensate for them with ADA accommodations and alternative resources as well. Here at Chapman, we want to prepare students for the future by practicing self-advocacy. We will help guide the student on that journey by utilizing all available resources.

FRANCIS SMITH CENTER FOR INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY THERAPY

Under the auspices of Chapman University’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program, the Center operates as a non-profit clinic for individuals, couples, families, and children.  The dual mission of the Center is to provide high quality and affordable mental health services to the local community and to provide an excellent training and research environment to the graduate students in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program at Chapman University. Chapman students will be assessed the minimum fee of $15 per session.

TUTORING, LEARNING & TESTING CENTER

The Tutoring, Learning and Testing Center (TLT) offers a variety of tutoring and testing services designed to assist students achieve their academic and career goals. Services offered include individual tutors for Chapman courses, supplemental instruction, academic mentors, writing center, accommodated testing and more.

DIVERSITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

The Diversity Affairs Committee addresses issues of diversity and equity affecting the campus. The committee actively seeks the concerns of underrepresented groups on campus and challenges itself to solve those issues.

CENTER FOR AMERICAN WAR LETTERS

The Center for American War Letters (CAWL) is a unique and extensive manuscript collection of previously unpublished war letters from every American conflict, beginning with handwritten missives composed during the Revolutionary War and continuing up to emails sent from Iraq and Afghanistan. These personal war-time correspondences are a vital record of the collective memory of the American people, as witnessed and articulated by service members, veterans, and their loved ones, who experienced these wars firsthand.
