»Verification of Employment

Please email voe@chapman.edu with your request and allow three business days for completion. Include the following information in your email request:

• Full name
• Chapman employee ID number (found on your Chapman ID card)
• Indicate which of the following information should be included in your VOE letter: salary, dates of employment, current title. Please indicate whether you are requesting the letter for COVID-19 vaccination purposes.
• To expedite the process, you may opt to send a copy of the document that is requesting the VOE, and/or explain the purpose for it.

As noted in the PSLF application, to qualify for forgiveness, among other requirements, you must be employed full-time by a qualifying employer when you apply. Please ensure that you meet qualification requirements prior to submitting your request.

Please email voe@chapman.edu with the PDF of your PSLF application and allow three business days for completion. It is very important that you:

• Do NOT fill out your social security number (SS#) when you send it to us. Due to security reasons, we are unable to send out documents containing a SS#.
• Do NOT fill out page 2 of the application.

NOTE: we do not provide verbal VOEs over the phone. Additionally, all VOEs will require a signed release from the employee. Acceptable forms of signature are wet/physical signatures and signatures via DocuSign. If the signature in the release form is typed, we may follow up with the employee directly to authenticate the request.

• Signed release form from employee
• Employee's full name
• Please note that we are only able to provide the following information: salary, dates of employment, and current title.

Please be advised that following Brandman's separation from Chapman University in 2008, all Brandman employee records were surrendered by Chapman for retention by Brandman University.

It's important to note that Brandman University was absorbed by University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global) in 2021. Brandman employee records are now maintained by UMass Global in accordance with their doctumnetation retention policy.
