Biography
Dr. Allan MacVicar is an assistant professor of French at Chapman University, where
he teaches a range of French language, literature, and film classes. In addition to
his graduate work on French poetry, he holds an undergraduate degree in French-to-English
translation and continues to translate a variety of texts professionally. This past
summer, he attended the 2019 Bread Loaf Translators' Conference at Middlebury College.
