Biography

Patricia Shanahan Gee, MM, has been a soloist in more than 30 performances throughout the western United States, including Menotti's The Telephone, Mozart's The Impresario, Disneyland's Dickens Carolers, and NBC's Tribute to John Wayne. She has served as musical director for such shows as Once Upon a Mattress and Bye Bye Birdie, and has been a guest lecturer for the California Music Educators Association. Most recently, Patricia has served as a vocal instructor and opera scene director for the Operafestival di Roma. She has an extensive teaching background and her students are singing in opera houses throughout the world and teaching in universities, colleges and high schools around the United States. She received her BM in Music Education from the University of Southern California (Magna Cum Laude) and her MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Redlands.
