Biography

William Stribling is an L.A.-based director and screenwriter. His feature films include The Mirror Game and Bear with Us, both of which enjoyed successful film festival runs before securing distribution. He is also the director of the hit web series Headless: A Sleepy Hollow Story and the Streamy Award-nominated Edgar Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party.

Stribling’s live concert film en la sala premiered on PBS in 2024. He is currently in post-production on Ameri’kana TV, a four-part documentary series that explores the lineage and legacy of black and brown musicians and their influence on American music.

Notable short films include The Speed of Time, The Case of the Gilded Lily and Down in Flames. Music videos include XOPA, Sala de los Pecadores, Calor and This is a Photograph (ft. Kevin Morby), all with Panamanian rock band Making Movies.

Stribling is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with degrees in film & TV production and dramatic literature. He also holds a master’s degree in screenwriting from Chapman University.
