»Science and Technology Clubs & Organizations

Joining a science or technology club at Chapman offers opportunities to deepen your knowledge, collaborate with fellow students, and engage in hands-on projects. You can also build leadership skills by taking on meaningful roles within student organizations.

The clubs listed below are open to students of all majors unless otherwise noted.

Medical clubs

Pursuing a Pre-Med/Pre-Health pathway? Join a medical club to gain hands-on experience, connect with peers, and prepare for a career in healthcare.

American Chemical Society Student Chapter (ACS)

A club for undergraduate Schmid majors offering programs to enhance your Chapman experience and prepare you for a successful career. ACS fosters connections through biweekly meetings and events, including lab coat tie-dye parties, research and resume sessions, and green chemistry talks.

Morgan Grimes ’22
Former Chemistry major, now pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at UCLA
"Being a member of ACS gave me the opportunity to attend the ACS Annual Conference in San Diego, which was an incredible experience. Exploring the world of science, meeting real researchers, and seeing others actively engaged in the chemistry community deepened my connection to the field.”

American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB)ASBMB group photo

A professional organization committed to advancing the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology by promoting education, research, and professional development opportunities for its members. Through its programs and initiatives, ASBMB can support you by providing opportunities to connect with other professionals in the field, stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques, and develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in your career.

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta)

Members engage in research, hear from guest speakers, participate in field trips, and give back through community service. With support from faculty advisors, TriBeta fosters academic growth, professional development, and strong connections through social events and collaborative projects.

Mohamad Hijazi ‘24
Biology major & President of TriBeta
“TriBeta can change the course of a science student's college experience because it provides research opportunities and a platform to share research at conferences. But what really sets it apart is our commitment to connecting students with research labs, mentoring, and sharing our love for STEM with students from underserved communities.”
