Virtual Study Abroad Information Sessions

We're hosting information sessions for prospective students and families. You'll learn about study abroad options, finding the right program and financing your experience. You'll also meet current students who studied abroad!

A Chapman education stresses the value of global citizenship. That is why we offer hundreds of study abroad courses and programs around the world.

As a student, you’ll have several options to gain international travel experiences.

Types of programs

1) Semester and academic year abroad

You can use your institutional aid for select programs, as well as federal and state financial aid for all programs.

There are more than 90 programs (in all majors and minors) to choose from, and many include language and cultural immersion, research, fieldwork or an internship.

Castles, hiking and six million sheep: Rosa details her experience studying abroad at the University of Glasgow in Scotland on her blog.

2) Travel courses

These are single, 1-4 week courses offered over Interterm (Winter) or Summer Term. They provide short, global experiences while getting closer to graduation.

Some of our most popular options include a course on Harry Potter in London and a course on Charles Darwin and the Galápagos Islands. The best part (next to the traveling) is that tuition is waived  for your first travel course!
