Chapman encourages you to make sustainable transportation choices wherever possible.
We offer transportation resources such as electric vehicle (EV) charging stations,

Zipcar allows Chapman students, staff, and faculty and City of Orange community members
to reserve a car by minute, hour, or even day! Members must pay a monthly or annual
membership fee. The membership allows members to make car reservations at any point
for their desired time. Visit the Zipcar website for more information.
Zipcar locations on Chapman's campus:
- Davis/Harris Apartments Parking Lot
- Marion Knott Studios Parking Lot
- The K/Sandi Simon Center for Dance Parking Area
Chapman operates a shuttle system with routes that run between west side parking areas
and Schmid Gate, Orange Campus and Chapman Grand, Orange Campus and Panther Village,
and Rinker Campus and the Irvine Train Station. This shuttle service is open to any
faculty, staff, and students with a valid ID. Find more details and information regarding
the shuttle schedules and specific routes here. Choose the shuttle system when possible and help reduce emissions from personal
vehicles!
We encourage Chapman community members that live near the campus to choose biking
or walking as their mode of travel to get to and from school and/or work. For those
opting to bike to campus, bike maintenance stations are offered as a cost-free means
of keeping your bike in working order. There are two Bike Fixit stations located on
the Orange Campus by Argyros Forum and the on-campus residence halls. The Fixit stations
offer basic tools with simple guidelines on how to fix common bike issues.
